“I would love to see the pool re-open again, i learnt to swim there and basically spent my life there along with hundreds of other guys every day, in the lush summer holidays we had, we would pop to Marios for dinner and then spend the rest of our pocket money in the little tuck shop at the pool, where we could buy Tom Tom crisps for 5p, It was somewhere special for us youngsters to chill out, in the hot summer days, with the park and the river on the side of the pool,

"It would be amazing if the pool was saved for all the younger generation of the community to share the same experiences that we enjoyed. Its a real shame that today there is very little facilities in the village for the younger generation.”
